TCPA Disclosure

Telephone Consumer Protection Act compliance

The plain-English version

When you submit a quote request, you agree to be contacted by Spokane HVAC Pros and referred HVAC contractors about your request. Calls and texts may be made using autodialed or prerecorded technology. Consent isn’t required to purchase services. You can opt out anytime by saying “stop” or emailing optout@spokanehvacpros.com.

What you’re consenting to

By submitting a quote request, you expressly consent to receive telephone calls, text messages, and emails from Spokane HVAC Pros and from independent HVAC contractors in our network regarding your request. These communications may be made using automatic telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice systems, or other automated technology.

What this means in practice

  • Calls: a real person from Spokane HVAC Pros or a referred contractor may call the phone number you provided. Calls typically happen within 30 minutes during business hours.
  • Texts: we may send SMS updates about your request (quote received, tech dispatched, etc.). Message and data rates may apply.
  • Emails: we may send quote confirmations, follow-ups, and reminders. You can unsubscribe from any email by clicking the unsubscribe link.
  • Voicemail: we may leave voicemails if you don’t answer.

Consent is not required to purchase services

You’re not required to consent to receive communications as a condition of purchasing HVAC services from referred Contractors. However, the Contractors need a way to reach you about your quote, so some form of contact is necessary for the referral to work.

How to opt out

  • During a call: say “stop” or “remove my number” and we’ll add you to our do-not-call list immediately.
  • For texts: reply “STOP” to any text message.
  • For emails: click the “unsubscribe” link in any email.
  • Any time: email optout@spokanehvacpros.com with the phone number or email to remove.

Calling hours

We respect calling hours per Washington state and federal regulations. Generally: 8am–9pm local time. Emergency no-heat and no-cool calls outside these hours are exempt from time-of-day restrictions.

Record-keeping

We maintain records of consent (your submission timestamp, the consent text you agreed to, your contact info) for 5 years as required by federal regulation. You can request a copy of your consent record at any time.

Washington-specific notes

Washington’s Commercial Electronic Mail Act (CEMA) and the federal TCPA both apply to our communications. Washington requires explicit consent for marketing calls; we only call about your active quote requests, which is transactional (not marketing).
